The meeting will begin at 12:00 p.m. with an executive session to consider the contract for the hiring of a new district librarian and consider a applicant for the position. The session is being held pursuant to ORS 192.660(2)(a). The executive session will end at 12:20 p.m.
The rest of the Board meeting will begin in open session at 12:20 p.m.
The top candidate for the new District Librarian is MaryKay Dahlgreen. There will be time for public comment about this position and the candidate for this position after the executive session.
New Board officers will be elected, President and Treasurer. The Board will approve a contract for the new district librarian and approve the hiring of a candidate for the position. The Board will pass a resolution approving new signatures on the bank accounts and approval of getting a new credit card. The final budget documents for 2018/2019 will be reviewed. There will be reports about activities within the Library District and about things happening in other libraries in the county this last month.
